ELAN Vascular Technologies has fabricated a prototype and conducted studies on Live diseased Rabbits at the University of Texas Animal Trial Facility in Houston and proved that its approach for treating Vulnerable Plaque is feasible.

Now we wish to build the second generation minimally Invasive prototype (using Optical fiber for delivery of laser energy) for Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) from FDA and First in Human Studies.
