While cancer survival rates improve, side effects remain a significant issue. Permanent nerve damage in hands and feet (chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy) is painful, debilitating, and there is no cure. 680,000 US patients are at risk each year and Payors spend $17k per patient, per year on symptoms. We are developing a novel solution to prevent this nerve damage. We have received funding from the Natl Cancer Inst and the Am Cancer Soc.
