He was the chairman [or a director] of many of those companies.

Among the others, he invented and developed electro optical systems in the field of music, video games and entertainment, among which are the Sega “Activator” and the Sega “Pods”. Assaf was the president of InteractiveLight Inc. In the US, and was the original inventor of Light Harp technology that has become the foundation of controlling video games via body movement.
