School Galaxy is a benefit corporation that seeks to realign what balanced and responsible private enterprise (for profit, not profiteering) can do to provide valuable educational services to the public at little to no cost. SG will provide free administrative services for all schools and users (students, teachers, parents and others) as well as low cost tutoring services and merchandising. Over time, SG will expand and provide metrics free of charge in order to help better address the real problems of education. Additionally, SG will harness the power of larger private entities with an interest in education (or what can be gained through supporting and sponsoring educational efforts) and channel their resources towards giving students and educators free services and goods. SG keeps in mind the importance of providing a valuable product to the public within the framework of a socially responsible context and pushing technology towards a symbiotic relationship with education.
