While at IBM in the mid 1990s, I designed and built the world's first large scale banking system on relational technology. In early 2000, I bought this same system, became an IBM Business Partner and together with IBM sold the system throughout Europe and Asia. In 2006, I was asked by Microsoft to build the world's first large-scale banking system entirely on their .NET Enterprise Framework.

That software is Etude via our US licensee EBOS Plc

Julian developed and ran his first private Management Consultancy group in 1998, Future Information Systems & Technologies Ltd, working with a variety of SME’s and large corporates to help them strategise their growth patterns, business services, IT architecture, profitability and corporate governance.

He has been involved in venture financing for 20yrs and has been heavily involved with design and development of enterprise software solutions
