A new method to retail ebooks (and later, other electronic media) in person at physical locations.
Ebooks In Person brings ebooks to brick-and-mortar bookstores. For bookstores it is a new revenue stream, letting them compete with online retailers. It offers readers a more personal ebook shopping experience. For publishers, it’s a new method of selling ebooks outside the few and dwindling online possibilities. For EIP, it’s an opportunity to take a share of a market that grossed more than $3 billion in 2012.
