Home Automation is a multi-billion dollar industry, experiencing exponential growth. Our family of devices can be used by anyone with access to a wall switch or an outlet with no learning curve. Customers who know how to plug a device into a wall outlet can use all of e5’s devices safely, easily, and effectively. This simplicity is our innovation.

The initial set of e5 products were conceived as retrofit devices for new and existing residential homes and apartments. We solve a common dilemma: expanding the control and function of the wall switch. These devices are not nice-to-haves but must-haves because they provide consumers the freedom, control and expandability of their analog wall switches – a technology that has largely gone unchanged since the introduction of electricity in the home. We developed these devices to address three key issues:
1) appeal to a broad consumer base,
2) offer simple solutions that don’t require maintenance or connection to network systems, and
3) offer solutions that use existing wall switches and power wiring in the home or apartment without the need for invasive renovation.
