He has been involved in the design, cost estimation, implementation, and on-site installation of many projects in the cement, electric power distribution, steel, mining, and petrochemical industries. His expertise is mainly in the area of Industrial Automation, Power System Protection and Control, Power Electronics, and Mechatronic systems.

    Daniel Sepasi received the B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 2005, and the M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 2007 and 2011, respectively. His interests include system identification, monitoring and control.
