Shane has been involved in numerous software projects, some outside of DDS, including some ongoing. His graduate studies depended on his software oriented approach to solving relevant problems. Through DDS, Shane oversaw and developed several dynamic data-based websites, and is comfortable with managing and implementing small information systems. Shane is also the President of one of the Transfer Agencies that uses the software daily internally.

Dawn worked closely with three Transfer Agencies managing the internal operations. Two of those Agencies used archaic DOS-based software; and, Dawn was instrumental in informing DDS of design and workflow requirements for the software in its early stages. Dawn joined her husband, Shane, in DDS a few years after inception, when DDS augmented sales by providing Agency contract services for operations and software licensing.
