Company Summary

DxUpClose is developing a medical device which is an in-vitro antibiotic sensitivity test used near patient that targets emergency rooms, physician’s offices, nursing homes and home healthcare providers. Physicians do not have real-time tools that determine the right antibiotic effective against bacteria in a sample, so they have to guess. Up to 30% of the time they guess wrong. This causes a $2.7B annual problem.
