Duckle Grip & Co. is a material research startup (s-corp) creating a proprietary non-abrasive non-slip tape. We have multiple applications and are concentrating on the $5.5B skateboard market.

Current skateboard grip tape is made of sandpaper. Sandpaper is a major problem because in the act of performing tricks, skaters rip and destroy their shoes. Duckle Grip Tape has the same friction, application and cost as sandpaper without ripping shoes.

    Jonathan grew up as an avid skateboarder and surfer in Hawaii. He graduated from Santa Clara University with a 4yr full scholarship in Mechanical Engineering and has over 9 years of professional experience in research and product development within Silicon Valley tech startups from consumer to semiconductor. Accomplishments include: concept-pilot world's first Smart Credit Card; concept-manufacturing Advanced 3D Printed Semiconductor Lead Frames.
