DS Aluminum Alloys, LLC business objective is to produce advanced nano-particle strengthened aluminum alloys for high performance applications. The goal for 1H2020 is to qualify AA8019 for pistons used by NASCAR, followed by rapid expansion of sales for INDYcar, Formula 1 and other race car pistons. Future markets include impellers used in race car turbochargers and aircraft auxiliary power unit turbines.
