    R&D Director

    Dr. Arup K. SenGupta has been a Chemical Engineering Professor at Lehigh University for over 25 years. He is an expert on groundwater remediation and has led the installation of 200+ community-operated arsenic treatment systems in Southeast Asia that now provide safe water to over 200,000 people under his non-profit, the Tagore-SenGupta Foundation. He was a 2011 Fulbright Scholar in India and is the inventor of Drinkwell's patented technology.

  • Mike German
    Head of Products

    Mike German was a 2012 Fulbright Scholar to India applying technology and infrastructure lessons learned from the operations of the Tagore-SenGupta Foundation into Drinkwell's strategy. He has helped develop Drinkwell's resin technology and leads fabrication, system design, deployment, and servicing operations. Currently a PhD candidate under Dr. SenGupta at Lehigh, Mike holds a MS in Environmental Engineering and a BS in Chemical Engineering.

  • Minhaj Chowdhury has 5 years experience implementing rural water projects with Johns Hopkins and BRAC, the largest NGO in the world. As a Fulbright Scholar to Bangladesh he researched villager willingness to pay for safe water. His work has been acclaimed by UNICEF and serves as the basis of Drinkwell's growth strategy. He has a BA in Public Health from Johns Hopkins, and strong relationships with stakeholders in Bangladesh's water space.

  • Prasun Chatterjee
    CTO

    Prasun Chatterjee has 20 years experience in design, engineering, installation and supervision of commissioning and performance testing of industrial and potable water systems, effluent wastewater treatment plants, and 5 years experience in the application and development of water technologies. Upon completing a PhD in Environmental Engineering under Dr. SenGupta at Lehigh, he served as General Manager at Tata Consulting Engineers in India.
