Before IMS, Sachin worked in marketing and sales roles at Novartis Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline.

Derek founded web development company, Blue . After graduating cum laude in biomedical and electrical engineering from Duke University in 2003, he received his MD from the University of Michigan. Derek completed his residency in internal medicine at UC San Diego in 2011 and is now a hospitalist at the VA Hospital in San Diego and an Assistant Professor at UC San Diego
