Company Summary

Divyze is the inventor and developer of the Bipolar Micro-Scissors (BPMS™). The BPMS is the first surgical instrument to integrate two commonly used technologies into an operationally integrated, hand-held, single-cycle device for the incision/cauterization of human tissue. Our primary target at launch is the neurosurgery market, with an emphasis on craniotomies (160,000 cases, US/YR). We will expand into other areas once we've gained traction.

    During Ryan's education in Biochemistry and Medicine at the University of Nevada, he worked with numerous local physicians, in a molecular biophysics lab, and was grateful to work on the natural history of brain aneurysms at Johns Hopkins. Upon entering his neurosurgery training at Johns Hopkins, Ryan discovered he had a passion for addressing the technological gaps present in the neurosurgery suite. Divyze is the result!
