Company Summary

Diviac is a cloud-based platform dedicated to scuba diving that combines social travel (e.g. TripAdvisor, Hostelworld) and sports activity tracking (e.g. Strava, Mapmyrun). The logbook is at the core of the system since it drives the creation of rich user-generated content, which becomes the IP of our travel engine. Diviac is a global and highly scalable business with two main revenue streams: premium subscriptions and booking commissions.

  • Thomas Achhorner
    Founder & COO

    Thomas started his career at IBM as a systems engineer, solution architect and project manager. He then joined The Boston Consulting Group where he spent20 years and worked in the firm's Zurich, Sydney, Hong Kong and Beijing offices. He founded BCG's IT advisory practices in South East Asia & Greater China and later ran the Swiss IT practice. MSc, summa cum laude, in computer science from the ETH, Zurich.
