Company Summary

Divergent Games, formerly known as Fourth Dimensional Gaming, was founded in 2008. During its first several years, the company created and released four games for the Xbox Live Indie Games Service. It is in the process of developing its first large scale project entitled Hiro Fodder: A Blue Hope. Part of the funding for this project was procured via a successful crowdsourcing campaign on Kickstarter in June, 2012.

    Ryan is an award winning screenplay and script writer. He possesses over a decade's worth of experience writing in various mediums such as film, short stories and video games. His wealth of experience as a writer and gamer has aptly prepared him for the challenge of writing a full length game script.

    Game Designer

    Robert has been in and around the gaming industry for the better part of five years. To date he has completed four games, and is currently programming/designing a game that was successfully crowd funded on Kickstarter. He is also providing a game engine and consulting services to another successfully crowd funded game. A passionate gamer, programmer and designer, Robert is primarily interested in creating story driven role playing games.

    Lead Programmer

    Koby has been programming games and game engines for the past 8 years. He is proficient in many programming languages such as C#, C++, Java and Lua. He is responsible for the creation and testing of Divergent Games in house game engine and for building a scripting language used for the sole purpose of creating games.

  • Matthew Burton
    Lead Artist

    Matthew produces the concept art, combat backgrounds, parallax layers and spell effects for Divergent Games. He has been with the team for two years, and possesses an educational background in graphics design for games. Matthew is also in charge of the general art direction and style for Hiro Fodder.
