Ever since starting my career in child welfare I realized that all too often children have no where to turn when home is no longer safe. Good foster homes are hard to come by and even then they only take the "easy" children. Most of the children who come into care are in need of constant support and understanding. It has been my dream for many years to create a shelter where no child would be turned away and every child would have a safe place.
