    Chief Executive Officer and Primary Investigator

    Nick Day was hired in 2017 by Diatomix as the Cheif Technology Officer. He wrote, won and manages the NSF Phase I and NSF Phase II SBIR projects. Prior to joining Diatomix, Nick worked for Puralytics, an Oregon based startup working to clean water with photochemistry. Nick received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Portland State University and prior to graduate school worked at the Buck Institute on age related diseases.
