Company Summary

Developing World Technologies (DWT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers indigenously supported, life sustaining technologies in culturally relevant ways to individuals in developing countries. DWT works with local NGOs to identify needs, collaborates with universities and manufacturers to design and manufacture products that meet the NGO's requirements, and facilitates the solution transfer through local distribution and holistic training.

  • Brendan Dallas
    Vice President

    Brendan Dallas graduated with his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University. Currently he is pursuing his MBA at New York University and working in Business Development for Rockwell Automation, a global manufacturer of industrial controls and automation. He has served as the Vice President of DWT since 2008. His interests include entrepreneurship, social innovation and philanthropy.

  • Levi Keene
    Project Manager

    Levi Keene graduated with his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University. He is currently a Telecommunications Engineer working at Avista Corporation, an electric utility serving the Inland Northwest. He joined DWT in 2009 while serving as president of the Engineers Without Borders chapter at WSU. He is passionate about international development and has spent several months traveling and studying in India and Southeast Asia.

  • Lindsey Frazier
    Investor Relations

    Lindsey Frazier graduated with a M.S. degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in December of 2009. She has worked with Engineers Without Borders through her undergrad and masters program. Currently she works for the United States Navy Geothermal Program Office where she plans and conducts investigations of environmental issues, monitoring and collecting data.

    Chief Financial Officer

    Cory Cole graduated with a B.Sc. in Bioengineering from Washington State University. He is knowledgeable in several subjects including control systems, instrumentation, and mechanics of materials. He is enthusiastic about solving humanitarian issues, and brings that motivation to the team. Cory has been a key driver for DWT since its inception.

  • Angel Hall
    President / Board Member

    Angel Hall graduated with her B.Sc. in Bioengineering from Washington State University. She works as a Hardware Verification Engineer at Sonosite Inc, Fujifilm. Angel has served as the organization's CEO since its creation and comes with a diverse background in agriculture, business, and technical skills.

  • Joseph Whyte
    Business Strategy and Operations Manager

    Joseph Whyte received an Engineering Diploma from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 1986 and an Electrical Engineering B.Sc. degree from Manhattan College in 1990. Currently Rockwell Automation's Life Sciences Business Development Manager for New York, he has extensive experience in starting up and operating automation distribution companies. He has a passion for DWT's work and has been an invaluable asset since joining the team in early 2012

  • Travis Meyer
    Board Member

    Dr. Meyer graduated from Washington State University in 2006 with his B.Sc. in Bioengineering and went on to graduate with his M.D. from the Pennsylvania State University in 2010. He is currently in his Internal Medicine residency at the State University of New York in Brooklyn. His interests include medical policy, advocacy, and leadership training and coaching. He has been with DWT since it's inception.

  • Howard Davis
    Chairman of Board of Directors

    Dr. Davis received degrees from Washington State University (B.Sc. 1981, MS 1988) and the University of Oregon (Ph.D. 1993). He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering at Washington State University. He has been the president and CEO of IPM, a medical device company and Total Dynamics LLC a software company. His interests include development and clinical applications of biomedical instrumentation.
