Our discovery of magnetic diode, with two unique functionalities of mV threshold voltage and nano-watt per square-cm dissipative power, will replace energetically inefficient semiconductor diode in small energy harvesting device and low energy sensor technology. Additionally, the new diode material provides a credible path to create very low power consumption transistor, thus reducing the battery usage in electronic devices by over 100-times.
