    Davis started his career working with the Geological Survey of Canada and has spent more than 20 years working in the Oil & Gas Industry in Calgary, Alberta.

    Davis holds a BA in English and an Honours BSc in Geophysics and has been an author on a number of scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. For a number of years he was the energy advisor to the Official Opposition in the Canadian province of Alberta.
