    Cofounder / CEO

    Matt spent the first part of his career with PwC’s Forensic Technology consulting group. There, his work focused on big-data analysis in response to the 2008 financial collapse. At DeansList, Matt brings this experience turning monstrous datasets in to actionable next steps to serve a cause he’s much more passionate about: education. Matt has an MBA from Columbia Business School and an M.S. in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon.

    Cofounder / Board Member

    Akshai is a TFA alumnus and a veteran teacher. Akshai is also the co-founder and COO of Phoenix Collegiate Academy, recognized as the 2013 Arizona Charter School of the Year. Akshai has a M.Ed. from ASU, is a Fulbright Scholar, and received an MBA from Columbia Business School.

  • Marlene Tempchin
    School Success Manager

    Marlene is dedicated to improving outcomes for all students. As a student at Yale College, she majored in American Studies and Urban Development. After graduation, she joined TFA, teaching high school special education in the Bronx.
