Davis Viticultural Research
Davisvines.com seeks adequate capital to expand its nursery operation, and establish its own vineyard and model winery in eastern MO.
From 1999 to 2002, Lucian Dressel developed a new family of wine grapevines in Davis, California with the assistance of the USDA and Univ. of CA, Davis. These hardy vines, bred primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, have revolutionizing grape growing in the United States. Over 50 growers in 19 states from Virginia to California are now growing these vines. Each vine is covered by a United States Plant Patent (either received or applied for).
