My family had an ancestral land of 17.5 acres on the coastal belt of Odisha, which happens to have a ready climate and other atmospheric conditions act as a perfect spot for prawn cultivation. The area also serves as a ready market for the exporters of shrimp and the entire harvest was sold out right out of ponds during the first catch and thus is the best place for harvest, with a total turnover of 42 lac.
