Our team consists of a unique combination of highly proficient, experienced & passionate individuals (also very good & old friends) who complement each other for Darmiyan’s mission, which is to shed new light on human brain health and disease. PKZ is expert in the physics & mathematics of brain tissue microscopic geometry; TL is expert in high resolution microscopy; KV is a radiologist/ MRI expert/ programmer; HE is a biotech-business brain.

PhD of biological physics, has spent 10 years of postgraduate work investigating and developing novel mathematical and computational methods for studying brain tissue microstructural geometry, resulting in numerous scientific publications and conference presentations. Her work was built on 35 years of research by the field pioneer and leader, Prof. Charles Nicholson, currently one of our top scientific advisors.

Chief Scientific OfficerPhD of neuroscience, has spent 10 years of postgraduate work on high-resolution, three-dimensional visualization of brain tissue microstructure in health and in neurodegenerative disease. Thomas’s work on neurodegenerative disease builds on decades of groundbreaking work by his mentor (company advisor), the Nobel laureate Dr. Greengard, and has resulted in numerous highly impactful scientific publications including the most recent in Cell Reports

Chief Medical and Technology OfficerM.D., brings in knowledge, experience, and expertise in a unique combination of fields critical to Darmiyan’s mission and product development, including basic science research, professional medicine and medical imaging, and computer programming. Kaveh's most recent clinical work on PET/CT and PET/MRI was conducted at Stanford University Hospital and NYU Langone Medical Center. He is currently the product developer of Darmiyan’s software platform.
