DarkSkyProtector does not affect the operation of telescopes. It does not create harmful glow, either with direct or side lighting, upward reflection, or with atmospheric scattering. The DarkSkyProtector system does not require shields or blinds in order to reduce light pollution, however the one of the simplest ways of using our luminaries is to combine them with traditional methods of fighting light pollution, i.e. full cut-off lighting etc.
