Company Summary
DLM makes new steam locomotives steam engines for ships and modernises them. Based on proven concepts from the 1930s, they are made with todays possibilities in machining and computing. This allows DLM to create new steam powered vehicles with economic performance of diesel vehicles wie minimal risk and low cost. Current products are mostly in tourism. Now we see demand in industrial areas, especially in airports for fireless steam vehicles.

Roger WallerIngenieur ETHRoger Waller (*1952) earned his diploma at the Swiss Federal Politechnical Institute in Zürich and startet to work at Swiss Locomotive Works in Winterthur (SLM). During a stay in South Africa he realized that ther is still potential in steam traction. Back in Switzerland, SLM found customers for new steam engines and Roger became project leader. In 2000 SLM was split up and the steam group under Roger Waller formed DLM.

Andreas SchwanderConsultantAndreas Schwander (1968*) is a mechanic by training but works a Journalist and Consultant in the aviation business. He cooperates with Roger Waller since 1996 to promote modern steam technology.
