Dr. Schork is the Director of Research at the Scripps Translational Science Institute, and Professor, Molecular and Experimental Medicine at The Scripps Research Institute. Dr. Schork is a leading expert in quantitative human genetics and genomics and previously worked at Genset and has served on a number of Advisory boards.

Dr. Torkamani is the Director of Drug Discovery at the Scripps Translational Science Institute and developed the initial version of the annotation pipeline. Dr. Torkamani is an expert in the field of mutation prediction and gene network analysis.

Dr. Topol is the Director of the Scripps Translational Science Institute and Chief Academic Officer of Scripps Health. Dr. Topol’s work in the genomics of heart disease has been recognized by the American Heart Association (top 10 advances 2002, 2004) and Time Magazine Medical Breakthrough of the Year in 2010. He has extensive experience in life science startups and is considered one the nation’s thought leaders in genomic medicine.

Dr. Van Zeeland is Director, Strategic Partnerships for Scripps Genomic Medicine. Dr. Van Zeeland is responsible for commercializing technology out of the Scripps Translational Science Institute and building public-private partnerships. She also has experience in clinical applications of DNA sequencing and building predictive models of disease.
