    Founder & Principal

    Steve Richards - Steve was co-founder of American Financial Systems (a Boston based software firm ) and harvested his shares for a seven figure sum. Richards began his foray into pension de-risking in 2003 and works with the leading carriers, wirehouses, and brokers to penetrate the market. Steve earned degrees in Economics and Finance from the University of Miami and his MBA from Babson College, and is currently studying Behavioral Econ at Yale.

    Founder & Systems Architect

    Chuck is CREWS’ systems architect and creator of RetirementWorks®. He has been deeply involved in retirement planning - with a principal interest in what happens when people get close to, or into, retirement age - since the early 1990s. With stints at New England Life, and 5 years with AFS (where he met Steve Richards), in 1999 he started Still River Software. He is a renowned authority on retirement planning - including work with the SOA.
