    Born and raised in NJ and graduated from Cornell University. Owner of a landscape business in high school and college. 7 years in biological sciences as a research faculty. 12 years working in outdoor adventure industry including postitions in program development, management and as director of a small private school. Significant personal experience with adventure sports and with woodworking and gear manufacture.
