Inventor of the Kymeira suite of materials. Educated at Oak Ridge National Labs, Harvard and Rockefeller Universities, Oberlin College, and the University of Michigan, with 8 years of research experience in the hard sciences. In addition, he has independently received 5 institutional and private grants, holds 2 patents, and was invited to speak at the TED-Global 2010, Oxford.

David’s expertise is in the areas of identifying, de-risking, and commercializing new businesses in the materials and chemical industries. Dave’s first 25 years vocationally were with the Dow Chemical Company, where he held multiple commercial and business positions in thermoplastics and thermosets including the launch of a $500M global business.

Reed ShickCo-founder / Director of Intellectual Assets
Reed’s career has been focused on the technical development and intellectual property protection of unique technologies in materials, chemicals, and clean tech opportunities. Reed’s career started in DOD and DOE work through KMS Fusion in lasers. He moved for the majority of his career to Dow Chemical and then has engaged in multiple start-ups. Reed’s educational background includes a B.S. in Chemistry, and a Masters and Ph.D. in Physical Chem
