Courtsdesk solves systemic difficulty with accessing information about criminal and civil court cases in the EU and other jurisdictions. In the UK it is building the first search of 98% of court cases which are currently inaccessible. Courtsdesk was recently named as one of the four most disruptive firms in LegalTech by The Guardian. It was the first Irish company to beat 600 applicants for a place on the Techstars Barclays Accelerator, in 2017.

Team

  • Enda spent 15 years in editorial & management at British and Irish newspapers, starting at the Foreign Desk of the London Sunday Times.
    A winner of the Law Society of Ireland Justice Media Award, he stood down as Deputy Editor of The Mail on Sunday in Ireland to found Courtsdesk. In that role he had responsibility for budgets, recruitment, digital strategy and all editorial. He completed the Trinity College Dublin Executive MBA in 2013.

  • Alan is a software engineer who specialises in software architecture and API design and development, MySQL and statistics analysis. For 10 years he has worked in fields as diverse as predictive sports science at Kitman Labs, betting exchanges at Matchbook.com and fashion at Intrade.com. He graduated with a B.Sc. (hons) in Computer Science from University College Dublin in 2002, and holds a Diploma in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin.
