Its research is in the physiological basis/cognitive implications of the scalp recordable oscillatory electrical activity known as EEG, and how this activity is modified by pharmaceutical agents .

Bruce is a company director and also consults on intellectual property matters, with a focus on commercialisation and start‐up companies. He has extensive experience, mainly at Swinburne University, in the management of innovation and commercialisation of R&D, management and governance. He has been on several company boards as well as government granting bodies including Commercialisation Australia and Clean Technology Investment Committee .

Dr. Mehrnaz Shoushtarian graduated with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Monash University. Her PhD work contributed to the emerging development of Electrovestibulography as a novel diagnostic tool. Her research includes measurement and processing of physiological signals using conventional and novel recording techniques.

A chartered accountant with over 15 years’ experience in accounting and business development in the biotechnology, mining, IT communications and financial services sectors. She has extensive experience in financial and business planning, compliance and taxation. She is also a director of ASX listed Grandbridge Ltd & MEC Resources Ltd.
