Prior to launching Correlation One, Sham directed the Operations at two specialty finance firms, where he developed and executed several national small business development programs that were funded by US Department of Commerce. He also provided business advisory services to 600 small businesses in New York. Prior to that, Sham practiced criminal defense. He holds an MBA and MPA from Columbia University and an LLB from University of Madras.

Rasheed built (and manages) a data-focused quantitative trading hedge fund. He is a published author and has over a decade of experience successfully managing risk. Over the years, Rasheed has hired and mentored a number of quants and data scientists. He loves building businesses and reading/learning. Rasheed graduated from Harvard with a degree in the humanities and has published several papers in theoretical mathematics.
