Dr. Scott has over 30 years in the Medical Device Industry, including 25 years at Medtronic where he had responsibility for new product platforms for Neuromodulation. He is a prolific inventor in both medical devices and batteries, and he has over 75 patents to his name. Erik was inducted as a fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineers.

Dr. Paul Sobotka is a professor and cardiologist with nearly 200 peer reviewed publications and multiple patents. He is also a serial entrepreneur with several successful exits. Of note, he was the CMO for Ardian, a novel hypertension therapy company, that was sold to Medtronic for $800 million.

Eric is a senior finance executive with 30+ years of experience in finance leadership positions spanning early-stage companies to large, complex global businesses. Eric has been CFO for several successful startups, including Histosonics, ABOUT Healthcare (formerly Central Logic), and Zipnosis. He also spent 9 years in senior finance leadership roles at Medtronic.

Steve is an experienced program leader with more than 30 years of success leading complex implantable medical devices, information systems and aviation products from concept through commercialization. Steve’s medical device experience includes managing the Chronicle Implantable Pulmonary Artery Pressure Sensor from Medtronic, leading program management in the patient monitoring business, and several other leadership roles.
