Dr. Stewart joined Coolture as founding President & CEO after a 30 year career in the global medical device industry. He is the former Pres & COO of Gaymar Industries, a global medical device company that he helped grow to $85M. After Stryker Corporation acquired Gaymar in 2010, Dr. Stewart became VP for Clinical Affairs. Dr. Stewart holds four patents for the therapeutic control of patient temperature, with one patent in process.

Luanne began her career in advertising at Chris-Craft Industries in Sarasota, FL. She later launched an ad agency that provided branding and advertising services to national brands. She was awarded a $250K grant for her screenplay, "Blowfish", which received several writing and film awards. She continued to work in fiction and freelance copywriting until founding Coolture in 2010.

Van designed shoes for DKNY until the side effects of Multiple Sclerosis curtailed his design career in 2000. After his return to Buffalo, Van started a monthly support group for people with chronic illness; a group he has moderated for 13 years. Van designed the Coolture cooling vest when he could find no comfortable cooling solution to prevent his side effects from becoming debilitated when overheated from physical therapy or weather.
