Co-FounderBeth Lawrence, CEO and co-founder of Communication Apptitude, received her B.S. from Towson University, and her M.A. from Northwestern University in speech-language pathology. She has owned a private practice for 17 years, which is where two students became muses for the new vocabulary instruction methods, InferCabulary and WordQuations. Beth presents nationally on vocabulary instruction, and is co-author of the Test of Semantic Reasoning.

COODeena Seifert, COO and co-founder, received her M.S. from University of Mississippi, and has been a certified Speech-Language Pathologist for 25 years. She has owned a private practice in Maryland for 17 years. She is an Apple developer, and is in charge of daily operations and marketing. Deena lectures nationally on vocabulary instruction, and co-authored the Test of Semantic Reasoning.

CTOWithers Davis is a seasoned software team leader and product designer with a focus on early-stage startups. Over the past 15+ years he has worked with dozens of startups, helping them design, launch, and grow their businesses. He leads an amazing team of developers and designers that focus on rapid, agile development.

CSOAndrew has been a senior executive of several education and K-12 literacy companies, with multiple successful exits. His experience includes CEO of Cognitive Concepts (Earobics), CEO of Smarterville (Hooked on Phonics, Sunburst Education and Reading Rainbow), CEO of Class.com, CEO of Teachscape, Inc. and SVP-Strategy & Corp. Development at Cambium Learning. He ialso invests through Educated Capital, in several early-stage education companies.

CFOJohn has extensive experience with strategic thinking, and managing financials in private sector and academia. As the senior manager of START (UMD), the program grew 700%. John brings to InferCabulary his skills in relationship building, personnel and financial management, database design and management, process visualization, writing and presenting for multiple audiences, and qualitative and statistical research design and analysis.
