Colony Farm raises insects (currently grasshoppers with the intent to expand) for human consumption. The entomophagy (the practice of eating insects) movement is growing quickly, mostly through crickets and mealworms. Customers growing accustomed to eating insects will be eager to branch out into others. Grasshoppers, which are eaten around the world, are a natural next step.
