ColdHubs was developed to help 470 million farmers in developing countries, who don't have access to cold storage. Farmers loses 45% of their vegetable harvests, 35% of their fruit harvests and 25% of their income due to lack of cold storage. ColdHubs, are solar-powered walk-in cold rooms that provide 24/7 off-grid storage and preservation for fruits and vegetables, from 2 to 21 days. They are installed in markets and farms.
