Coindrum operates self-service machines in airports that passengers use to convert unwanted currency coins into duty free retail vouchers. It's a much welcome passenger service that speeds up security and significantly increases the percentage of travellers that shop. The technology is provided for free with a fully service solution and retailers only pay a commission on voucher values every time Coindrum sends them a customer that starts shopping. In Dublin Airport for every 1 Euro the retailer spend on Coindrum they made 36 Euros in revenue. A major roll out is underway.
