Product Concept:
Almost all hospitals do have their own products to maintain the medical history but that is limited only to that specific hospital chain. If patient walks into any other hospital or clinic then they either have to remember all the medical history or provide documents to doctors to understand previous treatments. Our product will fill this gap, once the patient is registered with the system; further to that all their history will be maintained on the portal by doctors. Then patients can walk in into any hospital/clinic in the world which are using our system, registered doctors can get all history of respective patient obviously with consent from patient as this data is much secured. Not only the medical history but pharmacist can access prescriptions, laboratories can upload their test reports, patients can themselves see all history by logging in and insurance companies will get all required details for respective patients on one click. All you need is Internet. Overall we want to make all the medical history as digital; this is in line with the digital India thought.
We will have a much secured web portal with various types of logins having different roles and responsibilities. If registered doctor logs in, they can retrieve/update required patient's information with consent from patient. If registered Patient logs in, they can retrieve/update their own information. If registered pharmacists logs in, they can retrieve prescriptions for patients with consent from patient. If registered Insurance company agent logs in, they can retrieve required information for patient. This will help everyone to maintain the history of all the treatments performed and no need to carry any paper proof just need a medical record number to get all history. If we imagine this portal being used everywhere in India we can understand how much this can be useful to maintain medical history at grass root level. And last but not the least; data security will be at the highest priority for the product.
