Civic Legal Corps
CLC empowers a new generation of young attorneys to fight for justice on behalf of those who need it most.
In the U.S., eight out of ten low-income clients have their legal needs unrepresented and many middle-income Americans cannot afford quality legal resources. Yet, only half of all law school graduates have a law-related job nine months after graduation and many are out of work. By providing a fellowship program for young attorneys to make a living serving communities in need, CLC addresses this growing problem in a sustainable, innovative way.
