Company Summary
Citelighter is an information saving architecture for all digital academic content. Citelighter will be the ubiquitous platform on which all students will interact with their research from the web, e-textbooks, paper textbooks, class notes, scholastic journals, or academic content databases. Captured content that gets saved in personal Citelighter accounts is made public to create crowd sourced academic pages and organized around communities.

Saad AlamCo-founder, CEO
Prior to cofounding Citelighter, Saad Alam worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Health Central. In this role, he was responsible for company-wide positioning and sales efforts to Fortune 100 pharmaceutical and consumer-product-goods companies.
Saad completed an MPH in Environmental Health Science at Columbia University and holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business. -
Lee JoklCo-founder, COO
Prior to cofounding Citelighter, Lee Jokl worked as a Business Analyst with CGI Group, Inc., a leading Fortune 500 IT Services and Consulting company. In his role, Lee was responsible for the financial management of a $32 million P&L. Lee holds a BA in Economics from Hobart College, and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Rochester. Has worked w/ Saad Alam on academic/entrepreneurial endeavors for 5+ years.

Slipp DouglasCTO
Slipp has been actively developing and designing apps and games for the past twenty years. Prior to working with Citelighter, he was a Game Engineer at Freeverse. Slipp has developed for iPhone, Nintendo DS, Mac, Windows, Unity, and the web, utilizing everything from C++ to Objective-C, PHP to Ruby, HTML 2.0 to XHTML to HTML5, and everything in between. Slipp holds a BS in Computer Science from Univ. of Wisconsin.
