A novel device and method for repairing fractured bone by inducing a biologic and biomechanic healing response reducing costs, complexity and operative time.
We develop and commercialize implantable devices for the operative repair of fractured and surgically cut bone that promote an optimal biologic and biomechanic healing response. Resembling direct-to-bone splinting, Circumfixation is safe, effective and dramatically reduces complexity, operative time and treatment costs; conveniently supplied as single use sterile kits. The first device is for reconstructing the sternum after open heart surgery.
