Shaka studied anthropology at Harvard University, earned his MD from Weill Cornell Medical College, his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He completed his residency training in internal medicine and has worked for two YC-backed digital health startups (pre and post-Series A) as a healthcare content expert, clinical informaticist and business generalist.

Phil has led teams and emerging companies for ten years. In 2010, he co-founded Hyperion Energy Group, a green tech services company. He grew Hyperion to more than $2 million in revenue. He also led operations for Legal Tech Ventures, a service platform for the legal industry, increasing monthly revenue 30x in less than 12 months. Phil attended HBS and holds numerous patents in the areas of engineering and technical design implementation.

Craig is a former US Navy Special Warfare Combatant Crewman
(SWCC) and a security specialist certified under the Department of State’s Worldwide Personal Protective Service. He is the founder of two different businesses in the fitness industry, with multiple locations. He is a coach, writer and curriculum designer for Precision Nutrition, the world’s largest online coaching company, where he leads military and tactical coaching programs.

Guido is an expert in wearable technology and a leader in the industry. He holds a Master's degree in telecommunication engineering (Polytechnic of Turin, Italy), a Master's degree in electrical engineering (University of Minnesota), and a Ph.D. in computer science (University of Minnesota). Before joining Cipher Skin, Guido was the quality and reliability engineer for Athos, a Silicon Valley-based wearable technology company.

Claire is an expert B2B marketing leader. She holds a Master's of Science degree in intercultural marketing from the Paris Institute of Political Studies. She led corporate marketing strategies in various technical fields for iXBlue, a Paris-based global high-technology design, and manufacturing company. Most recently, she served as chief of staff and communications director to a congresswoman (En Marche) in the French Assembly.

Ashish is an expert in firmware and robotics technology. He holds a Master's degree in computer engineering from New York University. Prior to Cipher Skin, Ashish was a firmware research consultant at Princeton University and a research intern at Andluca Technologies.

Tim is an expert in sports and biomechanical engineering. He holds a Master's degree in sports engineering from Sheffield Hallam University (UK).

Rachel has held positions as an executive assistant and office manager for medium and large technology startups in Austin, Texas. She has a Bachelor's degree in performing arts management.
