Company Summary

The purpose of Chicago Beach Volleyball Club is to create a facility with sand volleyball courts available to the residents of Chicago year round. CBVC will be used for league play, open play and regular tournaments and will provide teaching services, equipment rental, and corporate event reservations. We will be the first in Chicago that provides a beach atmosphere allowing Chicago residents to enjoy beach volleyball and stay fit all year.

    Gary Forbes is a University of Chicago MBA and Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineering graduate with work experience in solution sales.
    He is the former commissioner of the Southern States Collegiate Volleyball League and President of Georgia Tech Men's Volleyball Club. Significant experience running leagues, tournaments and volleyball clinics

  • Brendan Forbes
    President and Founder

    Brendan Forbes graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. While there he was Vice President of the Georgia Tech Men’s Volleyball Club. Brendan competes in professional level volleyball tournaments where he has created an expansive network of connections within the volleyball community valuable to the operation of CBVC. He was also co-founder of the Rockstar Volleyball Tour in Central Florida.

  • Ryan McDaniel
    CFO

    Ryan McDaniel, a Vanderbilt and Princeton University graduate, brings significant experience in business finance and operational management. In 2007, after working with Deloitte Consulting as a senior specialist, McDaniel founded The RMI group, a management consulting firm. McDaniel grew and diversified RMI Group into a company grossing $3.5 million in revenue. In 2009 he sold the company to an IT consulting firm to pursue other options.
