After 4 years in hospitality, I saw the direct pain of restaurants failing to market their catering divisions. I started a restaurant discovery site (The Dish Dash) while attending the USC Marshall Business School. I won the Greif Center's 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year. Upon graduating I focused on the underserved catering market and started Chewse. I'm passionate promoting women in startups, wearing food jewelry, and surfing.

I used to be a journalist at Yahoo, but I wanted a job with interesting challenges. So I taught myself to code — eventually, I quit my steady job. After just nine months, I was the first full‐ time Senior Engineer at Adly, a Greycroft and GRP-funded LA startup.
After 2 years at Adly, I wanted to apply my engineering talents to my passion: eating. Tracy and I became co‐founders, making food tastier and easier than ever to order.
