He started CCW in 2012 as his solution to all the compostable waste being thrown away, and the need for lots of healthy soil for local sustainable agriculture and horticultural industries.

    Adam Schwartz, which a keen understanding of the composting process, is responsible for the operation of Chesapeake Compost Works. With a background in both sustainable agriculture and mechanics, he manages composting staff, maintains equipment, and also conducts sales and marketing to clients.
