Charlie Steg is a contemporary artist with his own art studio, located in the heart of Hoboken, New Jersey. He got his MFA from the Montclair State University. Throughout his career, his paintings became more abstract and these ideas set the precedent for his current work. In his current work, Charlie employs a process driven call & response approach with the aesthetic goal of balancing shifting degrees of chaos.

Charlie Steg is a painter working primarily in oil. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, he studied at the Montclair State University from where he received his MFA. His work has been exhibited extensively, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Museum in New Jersey and the Tampa Museum of Art in Florida, among many others. In total, he has had over 30 solo exhibitions around the world.
